Sparta Historical welcomes long time meber, Brian O'Neill, who recetly chaired Military History Day on our museum grounds in June.  His presentation is based on Brian's twenty nine year Army career.  It began at age ninetten in 1960 when he enlisted in the New York State National Guard.  Retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1989, he haws written about his career.  His tales range from numerous to sad to frightening.   Light refreshments provided.
