Edison Revisited
The Edison Revisited Room is located on the first floor of the Van Kirk Homestead Museum
The "Edison Revisited" Gallery was inspired by the "Thomas Alva Edison: The Person, The Vision and His Genius", a major exhibit featured at the Museum for 18 months during COVID. While Edison Revisited focuses more on Edison's mining efforts here in Sparta, it also includes several recent gifts to our collection such as an Ediphone, an early business machine along with several operating use manuals, photographs, and memorabilia.
We are grateful to Richard and Elna Hauck for these new artifacts. We also acknowledge Robert Lesko for his contribution of an Edison Home Photograph and Rob Nicholson for providing a set of railroad signal batteries.
