Sparta Historical Society will present a character portrayal of Emily Roebling, the wife of John, A Roebling, designer/builder of the Brooklyn Bridge. After her husband became bedridden, Emily became his liaison to the project - eventually communicating with engineers and suppliers so well that it was rumored that she had become the Chief Engineer herself.  Carol Simon Levin brings her life and amazing story to you through a dramatic odyssey that is important to discover why Emily was called "one of the most noted woman in the country."
